BIFACIAL SOLAR PANEL

As you can see, nowadays new technology has emerged in the solar market. Bifacial solar panel is in great demand, this panel generates electricity from both sides, nowadays this panel is being used a lot, let’s know what is bifacial solar panel?

Bifacial solar panels are a type of photovoltaic technology designed to capture sunlight from both the front and back sides of the panel. Unlike traditional monofacial panels that only use sunlight falling on their front surface, bifacial panels can generate electricity from both direct sunlight and sunlight reflected from surrounding surfaces, such as ground, water or roofs. This dual surface energy capture can increase overall energy production by 30-40% depending on factors such as the reflectivity (known as albedo) of the surface beneath the panel and the installation angle.

The construction of bifacial panels typically has glass on both the front and back, which makes them more durable and allows for better light transmission. The back side of the panel is designed to absorb reflected light, often enhanced with advanced technologies such as PERC (passivated emitter and rear cell), which improves cell efficiency by minimizing energy loss. This design innovation provides improved performance in high reflectivity environments, such as snowy areas or shiny surfaces such as concrete.

Bifacial panels are often used in ground-mounted solar installations, where the reflective surface on the underside of the panels can be optimized to reflect maximum sunlight. They can also be combined with solar tracking systems, which adjust the angle of the panels to follow the path of the sun, further increasing their efficiency. While bifacial panels are more expensive upfront than conventional panels, the increased energy yield can result in greater long-term benefits, especially in large-scale solar farms or commercial applications. As renewable energy technologies advance, bifacial solar panels represent a promising development for increasing the efficiency and sustainability of solar power generation.

If you also want to install a bifacial solar plant in your home, then today the government has launched 2 big schemes for the public related to solar. Under the Mukhyamantri Solar Swarojgar Yojana (MSSY), solar power plants ranging from 2000 kW to 2000 kW are being installed in which the government is giving subsidy of more than 50% and under the Pm Surya Ghar Mufth Bijili Yojana, a subsidy of Rs 136800 is being given for 300 kW to 10 kW. Book today and take advantage of this scheme.
