On-grid solar
What is on-grid solar?
A solar power generation system that is connected to the utility grid is called an on-grid system. The electricity produced by the system is sent to the grid and used to power various appliances. Furthermore, it is fuss-free and easy to maintain.
How did an on-grid solar power system work?
In a solar array, the sun’s rays are absorbed by modules, which are then converted into electricity. The current generated is Direct Current (DC). The solar inverter then converts the DC to Alternating Current (AC), As a result, electrical items can be powered by it. This electricity is then routed to the grid where it is supplied for day-to-day use. It records the amount of energy supplied to the grid and the amount of energy consumed.
Benefits of on-grid solar –
1. Reduce electricity Bills – Even though the solar power system is connected to the grid, the consumer pays only for the surplus electricity he consumes. At the same time, if the consumer uses less electricity, the excess is fed back into the grid.
2. Easy maintenance – The on-grid solar power system is the simplest to install and has very few parts. It is quite easy to maintain without batteries.
3. Passive income generation – if the customer wants to earn an income he/she can sell excess electricity. However, there are other benefits that depend on the type of system you choose.
4. Affordable prices – Dysun provides an on-grid system at affordable prices with 5 years of warranty. Also, the system helps to reduce bill expenses
